HOW DO I APPLY CLIP IN HAIR EXTENSIONS?

Applying any of our clip ins at home is super easy to do (even for beginners!). So if you're brand new to the world of Clip In Hair Extensions, Ponytails, Braids or Wigs - don't fret! Either follow the steps below or check out our YouTube channel or Instagram platform below for application tutorials, top tips and hair hacks on applying your new LullaBellz hairpieces with total ease.

1.) Begin at the nape of your neck, sectioning your natural hair for precise application.

2.) Taking the 3 clip style weft, pop open the clips and slide the weft into your natural hair before snapping shut each clip to secure. Let down the section of your natural hair and brush through your own hair and hair extensions together.

3.) Taking another section of the clip ins, repeat this step with the 5 clip weft to ensure they are applied correctly.

4.) Section above and repeat again using the 4 clip weft for added thickness, length and volume.

5.) With the final 2 clip wefts, section your hair and apply each piece towards the front of your hair for a soft, voluminous, face-framing finish.

6.) Let down the rest of your natural hair on top, and then brush through your hair and the extensions simultaneously for a seamless blend.

CAN I WASH MY CLIP IN HAIR EXTENSIONS?

Keeping your extensions maintained and in good condition is the key to their longevity. Our brand new Haircare range which includes Hair Fuel Shampoo & Conditioner products have been specifically formulated for use with our Premium Synthetic Hair, Luxury Gold Real Hair Extensions (and can be used on your natural hair, too!) Additionally, check out our blog below for our top tips on maintaining your new hairpiece!

1.) Fill a large bowl with lukewarm water and place your extensions into the water, keeping the clips above the water to prevent damage and keep the quality.

2.) Gently apply a small amount of LullaBellz Shampoo to the hair from wefts right through to the ends.

3.) Swirl your clip in extensions around in the water gently. Avoid rubbing the hair together as this can encourage tangling.

4.) Next, remove the hair extensions from the water and rinse them under a running tap. Gently squeeze out any excess water or shampoo residue until the water runs clear.

5.) Apply your LullaBellz Conditioner treatment (focusing most of the product on the mid-lengths and ends) and comb through from weft to ends

6.) Next, rinse the hair extensions under a running tap, holding the extensions at the top length down, near the clips.

7.) Squeeze out any excess water and conditioner residue, until the water runs clear (make sure to rinse in the same direction to avoid tangling) out of the extension wefts and leave to air dry naturally after washed for a natural finish.

Can these clip in extensions be heat STYLED?

With our real hair extensions, yes, you can heat style the hair - straighten, curled, clipped or even dyed - the choice is yours!

However, with our synthetic clip ins, we would not recommend heat styling. While our synthetic fibre is a premium product of the highest quality that looks and feels just like human hair, any heat applied to it over 180 c will lead to burning. It's worth keeping in mind that all of our synthetic extensions come designed in a variety of styles, so whether you're looking for a blow dried look, a brushed out wave or just want completely straight locks, we have a natural look ideal for wear at every occasion.

I HAVE SHORT HAIR, WILL THE CLIP IN EXTENSIONS BLEND?

Absolutely! For shorter hair types, we either recommend our 1 Piece Clip-ins or 5 Piece Clip-ins to ensure a seamless blend. If your natural hair has a blunt cut or is thick towards the ends, opt for our Super Thick 5 Piece Hair Extensions for a seamless blend. For short hair which is on the finer side, you'll need our 1 Piece Hair Extensions as these provide all the length and volume you need, without the added bulk.

How can I prevent my clips in from getting tangled?

Tangling is one of the most common complaints when using hair extensions, but there really are only a few correct care steps to follow to prevent tangles. Firstly, always store the extensions in a satin bag or hung up with an attached hanger. A hair extension will last much longer when stored correctly, than when thrown in a drawer. Secondly, if you do find the extension getting tangled, you can always use our Knots Out Spray. This is a spray perfectly formulated to help de-tangle your hair extensions and increase longevity. Simply spritz the hair with a spray and comb the locks through until de-tangled. Perfect for sorting out your hair extensions the morning after! Find these items below:

Are these synthetic or human hair extensions?

These are Premium Synthetic Hair Extensions, pre-styled for your convenience. We do sell remy human hair extensions, however, remy human hair extensions are generally quite a bit more expensive and will require styling. Deciding between synthetic or remy human hair extensions can be a bit of a minefield and it all depends on what occasion you're looking to purchase for and whether you have the time and expertise to style the hair yourself. Remy hair will generally last much longer than a synthetic hair extension, however, our customers love the way they can instantly and easily achieve a transformed look with synthetic clip ins.

What lengths do you sell your clip in hair pieces?

We sell a wide variety of lengths from 14 inch One Piece Clips Ins to add volume to short hair, all the way to 34 inch Extra AF Clip Ins, suitable for bringing the dramatics to all manner of special occasions. If you're struggling to find a length suitable for your hair type, please speak to our dedicated customer service team who will be more than happy to make a product recommendation.

How long does clip-in extensions last?

Well maintained and cared for extensions will last for at least a year. To get the most out of your extensions we would recommend:

Washing After Each Use

Always use a specially formulated hair extension shampoo or conditioner to wash your hair extensions. Ensure you follow the instructions and massage the shampoo or conditioner into each of the fine hairs.

Use a Knots Out Spray to Detangle

Many of our customers often wear extensions to add volume and increase the thickness of their hair for a night out. A night of dancing on tables can often leave a mark on your extensions and this can result in tangles the morning after. To work out these knots and tangles, use a knots out spray and a vent brush.

Store in a Satin Bag or Hanger

Extensions stuffed in a drawer or left out on a table will not last long. Always store either in a satin bag or hanger to prevent tangles and ensure the integrity of the synthetic fibres.
